Pack the Pick-Up Event

Boucher Group is excited to partner with VFW Auxiliary Post 1865 Kenosha to launch our month-long “Pack the Pick-Up” event in support of Ground Zero Veterans Outreach.

Event Details:

Throughout June, The Boucher Group will be collecting non-perishable foods and personal hygiene supplies to donate to veterans at no cost. Ground Zero Veterans Outreach, located in Union Grove, Wisconsin, is a veteran center and thrift store run entirely by volunteers. This non-profit organization helps veterans secure housing, provides furniture, housewares, clothing, and ensures they receive their maximum benefits from the U.S. Veterans Administration. They have significantly increased their impact, now assisting over two veterans per week.

How You Can Help:

Collection boxes will be placed at each of our dealership throughout June.

Items needed include:

• Personal Hygiene Products: All items except toothbrushes and toothpaste
•  Hand Lotions and Sunscreens 
• Cleaning Supplies: Including laundry detergent and dryer sheets 
• Food Items:
• All canned goods (meals, meats, soups, chilis) 
• Boxed items (mashed potatoes, rice dishes, mac & cheese) 
• Powdered milk, cereals, cereal bars, oatmeal 
• Canned and jarred fruit, peanut butter, and jelly 
• Crackers, snacks, chips, pretzels, cookies
• Coffee, teas, and powdered drinks

Additionally, Piggly Wiggly gift cards are welcome to accommodate any dietary restrictions.
