New Car Feature: 2019 Lincoln MKC

The refreshed crossover flaunts style, performance and feature upgrades.

Sporting a redesigned fascia and more available tech features, the 2019 Lincoln MKC proudly arrives on the scene. The automaker’s smallest crossover bears big design enhancements that make it a classy choice for families and business people.

Terrific turbocharged engines

Nestled under the hood of the 2019 Lincoln MKC, an optional turbocharged 2.3-liter engine awaits to deliver an aggressive 285 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque.* When utilizing all-wheel drive and proper equipment configuration, the Lincoln MKC can muster a maximum towing capacity of 3,000 pounds. You can opt for the standard 2.0-liter turbocharged engine instead, with a six-speed SelectShift® automatic transmission.

Technology to improve your drive

Multiple available features are here to help maintain control of your vehicle when you’re behind the wheel. Adaptive suspension uses sensors to automatically adjust suspension based on the road’s particular characteristics. AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability Control™ uses gyroscopic sensors to track the motion of the Lincoln MKC and determine the best time and way to apply the brakes on slippery roads.

Adaptive cruise control monitors and adjusts the speed of the Lincoln MKC based on the position of surrounding traffic. The Automatic Emergency Braking system avoids or lessens the impact of a collision by using obstacle and pedestrian detection to monitor and emit warnings to you, even applying the brakes automatically as necessary.

Signature Lincoln styling

The Lincoln MKC bears the same elegant style exuded by the rest of the brand’s lineup. The exterior begins with the bold, redesigned grille, chiseled body and rigid character lines creating a solid, confident figure that’s highlighted by narrowed HID headlamps with signature LED accents. Choose from half-a-dozen different wheel designs, ranging from standard 18-inch aluminum to 20-inch Ultra-bright-machined aluminum rims.

Accent the cabin of the Lincoln MKC with high-end touches like available ambient lightning, aluminum door trim, heated and cooled Bridge of Weir Deepsoft™ leather-trimmed seats, and panoramic Vista Roof®.

A joy to drive and ride in, the 2019 Lincoln MKC sets the bar for luxury crossovers. Want to see this luxurious vehicle for yourself?  Stop by our 3 Lincoln locations. New Car Review | 2019 Lincoln Aviator | Milwaukee, Wisconsin

New Car Review | 2019 Lincoln Aviator

2019 Lincoln Aviator Overview

The 2019 Lincoln Aviator is a vehicle that seeks to “elevate luxury to new heights,” and Milwaukee Wisconsin dealerships generally concur with this description of the Lincoln Aviator. It’s a supreme example of smooth luxury, an SUV that elevates the standard to new heights with each and every feature. This three-row luxury SUV made its debut at the New York Auto Show and hasn’t stopped making headlines since. Boucher invites all customers – both old and new – to learn more about this beautiful three-row crossover SUV coming to West Allis, West Bend, Janesville, and Milwaukee Wisconsin in 2019. It promises to be one of the most sublime models in all of 2019, and it’s changing the way that people think of this brand. The New York Auto Show model was a mere pre-production prototype and didn’t do the finished product justice. You have a lot more to look forward to from the real deal.

Beautiful Inside and Out

Boucher loves the silky smooth design of the Aviator, and we’re certain West Allis, West Bend, and Janesville Wisconsin drivers are going to love it just as much. On the outside, Lincoln has blessed potential owners with a design inspired by the flight of birds themselves. Lincoln design chief David Woodhouse reveals that the design them of the Aviator was “Quiet flight.” He explains that the Aviator “…is an elegant, beautiful alternative” to more aggressive designs of three-row SUVs today. Woodhouse explains: “If you look at a bird or plane in flight, the wing is always at an angle to the air and falling downward toward the rear. You see that in the main bodyline of Aviator. From the headlight to the taillight, there’s a beautiful undercut feature varying in depth that connotes poise and grace.”

Interior Flourishes

The interior itself is a more “horizontal” design, with spaciousness generously awarded to third-row passengers. In most SUVs of this type, you’ll find a third-row that’s cramped and uncomfortable. There’s nothing cramped or uncomfortable in the entirety of the Aviator interior. It’s packed full of technology and generous portions of both passenger and cargo space. Confirmed features include a 12″ touchscreen display within the instrument cluster, a formidable command center for anyone who wants to stay connected in a comfortable, home-like interior. Materials and color schemes promote the “flow” of the interior. The confirmed Black Label trim will give you a choice between Shearling Beige or Lunar Gray color patterns, and there will be an additional portion of aluminum trimming to bring in a more intriguing finish. Wood accents will also carry a message of greater sophistication on some trims. Overall, it’s a beautiful interior to match an intruqing and sophisticated exterior. The message: When you step into an Aviator, the designer wants you to feel at home and at peace.

Beauty And Function

The design features of the Aviator follow a common theme on the inside and the outside: We want you to be calm in this vehicle. The drive should be calm. The accents should be soothing. And no matter how much power you get – and you’ll certainly get your share – it’s supposed to flow much like the power of a bird in flight. The great news for potential owners is that the maker has most definitely accomplished one of their most soothing and beautiful vehicles in recent memories, and they’ve still managed to throw in a twin-turbo charged engine that won’t disappoint those who are sticklers for performance.

Other previews of the Aviator highlight the safety features that blend function and performance into a more driver-assisted focus. Co-Pilot360 is a confirmed safety feature of the Aviator, giving you the maker’s powerful Co-Pilot program that puts you right on the cutting edge of autonomous driving. Lane-Keep assist, Cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection are all integral features of the safety package and enhance your driving experience by allowing you to enjoy the scenery just a little more freely these days. And while it’s not a fully self-driving vehicle, it’s as close as you can get to one in today’s technology.

A Powertrain For All

The makers have been a little secretive about the powertrain specs of the Aviator, but what we currently know is that you’re going to get a twin-turbocharged engine that lets the performance match the gentle beauty of the overall design. There’s also a plug-in hybrid trim that will allow hybrid lovers to take advantage of the quiet beauty of the Aviator, too. For now, we’re in the dark about the exact horsepower and torque specifications of the Aviator, but people have ventured that you’ll be looking at well over 300 horsepower on the turbocharged engine and close to 400 or over horsepower on the hybrid plug-in. It’s a quiet burst of power for those who demand a refined interior, engaging exterior, and just pure performance from the moment you drive off the lot in one of these remarkable SUVs. Gordie Boucher Lincoln will be updating powertrain specifications as soon as they’re released. That’s just what Boucher does. We keep you up to date even on the future vehicles we’ll have here on our lot.

To review:

– The Aviator will have at least two engines: A twin turbocharged engine and a hybrid plug-in engine system
– More engine choices may be announced in the future
– Check back frequently for an update on specific horsepower and torque specs
